A construction technology firm has signed a full-building, 11,500-square-foot industrial lease in South Plainfield, in a newly announced deal by Bussel Realty Corp.
Brokers with BRC represented EquipmentShare, an eight-year-old firm based in Columbia, Missouri, in the transaction at 456 Hollywood Ave. The company is leasing the space from Ridgecut Road and Marcus Partners, enabling it to expand its customer locations to northern New Jersey with a site that spans roughly four acres with abundant parking and storage space.
BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz and Sales Associate Ben Abbate represented the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership.
“The industrial outdoor storage sector has seen rapid growth in recent years, driven by the increasing demand for strategically located parking/outdoor storage sites,” Metz and Abbate said in a joint statement. “456 Hollywood Court offers four acres of clean, paved, lit and fenced parking with a functional 11,000-square-foot warehouse. It perfectly suited EquipmentShare’s expansion into the New Jersey market, resulting in a win-win situation for both landlord and tenant.”
In a news release, BRC noted that 456 Hollywood Ave. is minutes from Interstate 287, providing quick access to Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike. The property has 1,500 square feet of office space, 24-foot ceiling heights, three drive-in doors, wet sprinklers and ample power.
