DMR Architects has added to its team once again in response to continued demand for design services in education, residential and other fields, the firm announced recently.
In a news release, DMR touted the hiring of Glenn Pellet, Eli Cohn, Drew Monarque and Irene Chun. They will support several teams within the Hasbrouck Heights-based firm, which has seen a 30 percent increase in projects and just recently bolstered its construction administration department to support the uptick.
Glenn Pellet joins DMR’s project management team to support its extensive work with the New York City School Construction Authority, including consulting on more than 20 capital improvement projects at schools across the five boroughs, the news release said. He has more than 40 years of experience managing and developing technical document preparation in the architecture and engineering industry, designing, managing and overseeing hundreds of projects.
Pellet has a degree in architecture from Ohio University and is a licensed architect in New Jersey.
Cohn joins the firm’s construction administration team as a construction manager and will serve clients in the education and residential sectors, including renovations at the Passaic Board of Education and North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District. His work will also include residential projects in East Orange.
He has spent the last 20 years of his career dedicated to construction, at times overseeing concurrent projects collectively valued at $500 million.
Monarque joins the public sector team at the production level to support projects including two police renovation projects and a historic renovation to a train station, the news release said. He has been involved in the design and construction industry since 2004, with a focus on renovation and reconstruction projects.
Chun, who joins the interior design team, will work on corporate and health care projects such as the SB One Weehawken branch and two projects for Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, DMR said. She has a bachelor of fine arts in interior design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and spent the past 10 years dedicated to high-end interior design projects.
