      SIEROTKO NAMED EVP, CHIEF LENDER AT PROVIDENT
Provident Bank has promoted Walter Sierotko, its top commercial real estate lender, to executive vice president and chief lending officer.
The Iselin-based bank announced in mid-April that Sierotko will now be responsible for the strategic direction of its commercial lending function, overseeing the management and development of
real estate lending and credit administration, according to a news release. The Pequannock resident has also held senior leadership positions with Bank of New York, HSBC and Wells Fargo, while he holds a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Maryland.
He is a member of NAIOP and serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey.

Newmark Associates has expanded its team with the addition of Mary Therese O’Brian, a veteran sales and marketing executive.
O’Brian, who joins the Cedar Knolls- based firm as a sales associate, brings more
than 20 years
O’Brian offers marketing strategies for Commercial Real Estate Women’s New York and New Jersey chapters, serving as co-chair of the public relations and member recognition committees. She studied marketing at the University of Notre Dame, earned a bachelor’s in marketing from Thomas Edison State College and a mini-MBA in digital marketing from Rutgers Business School.

NAMES PRINCIPAL IN

Design firm Ware Malcomb has promoted Edward Mayer to principal, architecture, in its Newark and New York offices.
In his new position with the Irvine, California-based firm, Mayer is responsible for the overall leadership and growth of the architecture studios for the Northeast region.
“Ed’s 25-plus years of architectural experience and strong management skills have been a tremendous asset to Ware Malcomb’s Northeast regional operations,” said Kenneth Wink, Ware Malcomb’s CEO. “His leadership has
led to the continued expansion of our services in multiple states throughout the region. We congratulate Ed on his success and well-deserved promotion to principal.”
A licensed architect in New York and New Jersey, Mayer joined Ware Malcomb in 2016 as studio manager,
