Hekemian & Co. welcomed local officials, members of the project team and other stakeholders on Sept. 24 to mark the grand opening of The Current on River, a 254-unit luxury apartment building at 18 East Camden St. in Hackensack.
Peter Visceglia, Nicole Visceglia-Rodgers and Frank Visceglia Jr. were among the honorees at NAIOP New Jersey’s 33rd annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala, which was held virtually on Sept. 9. They accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the family of Frank Visceglia Sr. and the multigenerational leadership of Federal Business Centers.

The event raised $270,000.
Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop welcomed fellow public officials on Sept. 16 as the city broke ground on an 11-story, 120,000-square-foot public safety complex at 358 Martin Luther King Drive. The $120 million project is slated for completion in 2022.

NAIOP New Jersey CEO Michael McGuinness joined Eugene Diaz, principal and co-founder of Prism Capital Partners, who accepted this year’s Impact Award as part of the association’s 33rd annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala on Sept. 9.
