Bisola A. Taiwo, a former key economic development official with the city of Newark, has joined Gibbons PC as a director in its real property group.
The practice, which is based in
the city, said Taiwo most recently served as assistant director
and chief of staff for Newark’s Department of Economic and Housing Development. In that role, she led more than 70 employees across five multidisciplinary divisions, managed a high volume
of complex redevelopment projects from concept to completion and oversaw day-to-day operations on key initiatives and municipal capital improvement projects.

Woodmont Industrial Partners has hired Morgan McEwan as an industrial associate, as it eyes continued expansion in both the Northeast and other top logistics markets.
In her new role, McEwan will contribute to the growth and day-to- day management of a portfolio that has included sites in New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley and the Southeast. She joins the firm, a joint venture of Woodmont Properties and Romark Logistics, after most recently serving as an associate at Industry City, a historic industrial complex in Brooklyn that is now a mixed- use business, retail and cultural destination.
