Berkadia announced the new hires in late March, noting that the team consistently ranked among CBRE’s top investment sales groups.
They work with a diverse client
base including private investors, partnerships, lenders and institutions of varying net worth to provide guidance on complex transactions, including portfolio sales, distressed property sales, note sales and 1031 tax exchange transactions.
Berkadia was formed in 2009 as a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Leucadia National Corp.,
now Jefferies Financial Group.
As head of the firm’s New Jersey multifamily investment sales team, Gambuzza brings more than 20 years of experience in the New Jersey market, having brokered the sale of some 17,000 apartments.

Real estate services firm Berkadia has launched a new office in New Jersey with the recent addition of a multifamily investment sales team based in Morristown.
