NAIOP has recognized Andrew
Chun of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services as a recipient of its 2023 Developing Leaders Award.

The association noted that Chun, as co-creator of Young Professionals@ Langan, has helped promote a culture of knowledge sharing and skills development among his co-workers as they grow their careers, according to a news release. He brings the same approach to his role as co-chair of NAIOP New Jersey’s Developing Leaders Committee, where he aims to help members connect, communicate and advocate for themselves, having also launched a pilot mentoring initiative.
“I am grateful to be recognized by NAIOP and thrilled to represent our chapter and the great work we do,” Chun said. “Dan has a passion for this type of professional development, and it is exciting to work with him and his team to make things happen.”
He added: “My co-nominees are
truly impressive, and I look forward to meeting and learning from folks from other markets who are at the same level in their careers. I hope we can find ways to collaborate as we advance in the industry together.”
Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award is given to up-and- coming professionals under age 35 from across NAIOP’s national chapter network, the news release said.

FITCH JOINS STRO IN
CAPITAL MARKETS
ROLE
The STRO Cos. has hired Albert Fitch as its managing director of acquisitions and capital markets to support its expansion beyond the Garden State.
In a news release, the Ridgewood- based firm said Fitch joins its team with years of national acquisition and private equity experience. He most recently
was a managing director with TSCG Investors, where he was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions
of the firm’s
portfolio, and
previously held positions at RAM Real Estate Capital and PwC.
Fitch also served six years with the United States Coast Guard.
“Albert will be a great addition to STRO,” said Steven Millstein, the firm’s founder and principal. “He brings vast institutional experience in acquiring assets on a national scale. Albert will be a crucial member in expanding our platform in Florida and recreating the success we have had in northern New Jersey.”
Fitch, a Connecticut resident, earned a master’s in real estate from New York University and an undergraduate degree in finance and economics from Fairfield University.
“I am honored to assume this role and
filled with a strong sense of optimism for the future,” Fitch said. “I am excited about collaborating with the highly skilled STRO team to further enhance the platform and look forward to seizing the opportunities that await us.”

PROMOTES TODD
NAI James E. Hanson has promoted veteran broker Christopher Todd, highlighting his role in dozens of deals in recent years and his growing roster of institutional clients.
The Teterboro-based firm said
Todd, who joined its team in 2013, represents both local businesses and national players such as AEW, Ares Industrial Management and Bridge Logistics Properties, among others. He works closely on a team with industry veteran Scott Perkins and recent addition William Ericksen, having helped complete more than 60 transactions with institutional clients valued at nearly $400 million since 2017.
He will look to build on that business in his new role as managing director, institutional services.
