The developer of a 568-unit
apartment portfolio in Bound Brook
and Hackensack has recapitalized
the properties with $29 million in
preferred equity. Berkadia’s Noam
Franklin, Cody Kirkpatrick, Chinmay
Bhatt and Matthew Tu spearheaded
the transaction.
REINSURANCE GROUP OF AMERICA
provided $20 million to refi nance
the Styertowne Shopping Center,
a 236,000-square-foot grocery-
anchored complex at Bloomfi eld
Avenue and Route 3 West in Clifton.
Andrew Stewart, Dev Morris and
Brandon Szwalbenest of Cronheim
Mortgage sourced the 10-year
loan, which has an interest-only
period during the center’s ongoing
renovation, as well as a stepdown
prepay during the fi nal three years of
the loan.
TRUSTAGE provided $9 million in
permanent fi nancing to Commercial
Realty Group, the owner of a
160,999-square-foot warehouse at
700 Bartley Chester Road in the
Flanders section of Mount Olive.

advisory team on the borrower’s
