Both municipalities have set high standards for architectural design and sustainability that will enhance the livability of their downtowns for decades to come. PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
The Seymour Street Redevelopment is a new multi-award- winning placemaking project. This mixed-use development for Montclair is anchored by the existing historic Wellmont Theater and incorporates a new public pedestrian plaza that pays homage to the town’s arts heritage. Two new buildings add 200 residential units, much-needed parking, vital retail storefront, significant leasable space dedicated to medical offices, and of course, art studios and cultural education. The heart of the project is the multilevel landscaped plaza itself which provides open-air space for both organized and spontaneous arts, entertainment and active leisure activities.
