Solar Landscape client RPM Warehousing & Transportation recently graduated from using solar, to sharing it. RPM energized its headquarters in 2017 with
a 480 kW rooftop solar installation developed, built
and operated by Solar Landscape. The project lowers RPM’s monthly operating costs and carbon footprint. In 2021, RPM leased the unused portion of its roof to Solar Landscape for community solar. Now, nearby residents subscribe to power their homes with the energy produced on the rooftop, and RPM collects an additional revenue stream while benefiting the community. Its nearly 3.2 MW community solar project, plus RPM’s second 1.1 MW community solar project nearby, generate revenue and goodwill while fighting climate change.
