TRANSACTION SPOTLIGHT
In today’s environment accounting and financial resources are very difficult to find or replace. Companies often find themselves losing key accounting and financial resources and inopportune times. Our WISS Advisory team has in- house resources that have served as CFOs and controllers at real estate companies. These resources also have extensive
experience with the typical real estate systems (YARDI, MRI, Appfolio, etc.). We can help augment for short to long periods of time until a suitable replacement can be found.
In addition to augmenting for this role we can help recruit and find a suitable replacement. We have found in our experience in the real estate industry along with our own in- house recruiting department that we will have more success in finding a suitable candidate vs. the large recruiting firms.

ON THE HORIZON
Our advisory and family office services have been the biggest areas of growth at the firm. The demand we are seeing in
the advisory area are bookkeeping services (outsourced accounting/temporary assignments), organizational advice, implementing new technologies, tax consulting with the ever- changing tax code and recruiting for accounting and finance personnel. Our family office and wealth management division is growing because as CPAs we are in a unique position as advisors to help connect business matters with family matters. Lastly, we are very involved in the Long-Term Tax Exemption law (PILOTs) in a consultative role when negotiating financial agreements, in assistance with PILOT applications and on the annual audit compliance.
