A dental implant company has leased 23,000 square feet at a Bergen County industrial building owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
The developer and owner on Wednesday said the tenant, Hiossen Implant, is relocating to 50 Maple St. in Norwood from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Its new home provides it with a recently upgraded building that is near several major highways and bridges.
Stephen C. Jennings, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice president of leasing and marketing, arranged the lease in conjunction with Andrew Somple of NAI James E. Hanson. Mitch Helfman of MRH Real Estate Services Inc. represented the tenant.
“The quality and functionality of 50 Maple Street, along with its proximity to our North American headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, was very attractive to us,” said Sean Bae, Hiossen’s chief financial officer. “The property is an ideal fit for our company’s needs.”
Sanzari touted the recent upgrades to 50 Maple, including the redesigned façade and main entry into the building, new exterior landscaping and new interior lighting. The firm said all new tenants will be provided with interior improvements designed to their specifications.
The property is part of a six-building industrial portfolio in Norwood located at 335, 355, 375 and 385 Chestnut St., and 10 and 50 Maple St. The properties offer easy access to the Palisades Interstate Parkway, Route 9W, the New York State Thruway and the George Washington and Tappan Zee bridges.
Ceiling heights range from 16 to 18 feet, Sanzari said, noting that the buildings are functional for uses including light industrial, warehousing, high-tech or R&D.
“The Norwood industrial portfolio offers a number of important advantages for companies seeking strategically located, state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution space,” Jennings said. “We are excited to have a dynamic company like HIOSSEN Implant join our tenant roster and look forward to serving their current and future requirements in this prime Bergen County location.”
