G.S. Wilcox & Co. has brokered $2.5 million in financing for a nearly 24,000-square-foot, mixed-use building in downtown Morristown.
The commercial mortgage banking firm, which is based in the town, on Tuesday announced the transaction for the 23,749-square-foot property on Speedwell Avenue. G.S. Wilcox did not identify the property’s exact address, but said it was a historic building within Morristown’s central business district and steps from the park known as The Green.
Wesley Wilcox, senior associate, and Albert Raymond, principal, arranged the financing on a 20-year self-liquidating basis through a correspondent lender of the firm.
“G.S. Wilcox & Co. is pleased to secure this financing for our client in one of the most desirable areas of Morristown,” Wilcox said. “Our company is headquartered here so we have a strong connection to this community and value every opportunity to do business in our backyard.”
