Law firm Curcio Mirzaian Sirot LLC has announced a new addition to its team of community association law, real estate and litigation attorneys.

The practice, which is based in Roseland, said Carly M. Clinton joins its ranks as an associate attorney. She comes to the position from a firm in New York City, where she concentrated her practice on the representation of condominium and homeowners associations and cooperatives, as well as developers of community associations.
Curcio Mirzaian added that Clinton’s work spans a range of matters, including general cooperative governance, amendments to governing documents, transition from developer to unit owners and construction defect litigation. She also has substantial experience in community association loan transactions, having gained valuable insight by representing lenders as they financed the development of cooperatives and condominium communities.
Clinton is admitted to the New Jersey and New York state bars, as well as the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York, according to a news release. She earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she served as a law journal editor, and a bachelor’s from St. John’s University.
“National headlines have, no doubt, intensified the focus on the roles and responsibilities of condominium and cooperative boards,” said Benjamin C. Curcio, a founding member of the firm and chair of its litigation practice group. “Therefore, our Community Association Law practice, which has served numerous communities since our founding, has correspondingly expanded throughout the practice group to meet these demands.
