Grocery chain SuperFresh has signed a new 25,000-square-foot lease in Clifton, in one of several newly announced retail deals by CBRE.

The firm’s Marta Villa and Samuel Bernhaut represented ownership in the grocer’s 25-year commitment at 435 Lexington Ave., about a half-mile west of Route 21. Joel Dicker of Bennett Realty represented the tenant.

The CBRE team also brokered a 30,000-square-foot lease at 323 Bergen Blvd. in Fairview with an adult daycare operator, with Michelle Choi of Alpine Global representing the tenant.

“Despite concerns over inflation, New Jersey’s retail market continues to attract new tenants,” Villa said. “In the past few months, we have completed a number of long-term leases with major tenants looking to expand in the market.”

In Lebanon, at 600 Corporate Drive, CBRE brokered a 6,000-square-foot lease for Masa Chip, which will use the space as a production kitchen. The firm’s other recent deals include Fitness Superstore’s 7,175-square-foot commitment 461 Route 46 in Fairfield.

“It has been great working with Marta again after her return to CBRE earlier in the year,” Bernhaut said. “After a very successful 2022, Marta and I look forward to expanding our collaboration into the new year.”
