Marcus & Millichap has promoted one of its leading brokers in New Jersey to the position of vice president investments.
Based in the firm’s Saddle Brook office, Chez Eider heads a group specializing in the sale and advisory of multifamily and office investment properties in the state, as well as development sites, according to a news release. He has closed nearly $267 million in total sales volume since joining the firm in 2018, while his current pipeline of active and under contract listings is worth more than $370 million.
The firm added that Eider has won its Sales Recognition Award for the past two years and received the 2021 Mr. Marcus Millichap Award and the National Achievement Award.
“Connecting with people is second nature for me, so the Marcus & Millichap culture of collaboration helps close deals by matchmaking the right equity to investment opportunities while leveraging local knowledge and expertise through its national platform,” Eider said. “With my deep roots and a diverse background in the real estate industry, as well as a proven track record in marketing, my clients benefit from a unique perspective in the advisory role representing owners by maximizing the value of their properties.”
In announcing the promotion, the company said Eider has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and a bachelor’s degree in Talmudic law from the Lev Aryeh Institute in Jerusalem. He began his career in an advisory role at an investment banking and securities brokerage firm and later founded a national commercial construction and real estate development firm, with a focus on ground-up commercial and residential development and value-add investments through ground-up development, renovation and repositioning in a variety of sectors.
