JLL has promoted a longtime member of its New Jersey-based capital markets team to a production role focused on multifamily investment sales.
In her new role as a director, Elizabeth DeVesty will work alongside senior managing directors Jose Cruz, Michael Oliver and Steve Simonelli and focus primarily on the apartment sector within the suburban tristate area, according to a news release. She most recently was an associate with the Morristown-based team, having spent more than 13 years with the firm.
“Liz’s ability to communicate with clients and to not only understand their investment goals but also provide effective options is a very valuable trait in today’s market,” said Cruz.
The firm added that, throughout her time at JLL, DeVesty has supported $18.9 billion in multifamily housing transactions. She earned her degree from Marist College in 2008.
