Saxum Real Estate has promoted David Lizza to development director, touting his role in some of the firm’s largest industrial projects in key markets.
According to a news release, Lizza joined the firm in 2022 and has been key in working with the company’s acquisition and preconstruction teams to determine the viability of projects. He also works with the construction team through execution, having completed multiple industrial projects with Summit-based Saxum and is currently spearheading several others, including the development of a four-building, 2.5 million-square-foot campus over 180 acres in El Paso, Texas, as well as a cold storage warehouse under construction.
Lizza, who has more than 15 years of industry experience, also leads the firm’s civil engineering due diligence for multiple new opportunities within the industrial market.
“David brings his extensive knowledge and experience of industrial development to every project and has been a great person to learn from since day one on the team,” said Kieran Flanagan, principal of development and construction with Saxum. “He brings a straightforward attitude to all our project opportunities and sees how to capitalize and turn challenging land sites into great opportunities for Saxum.”
