A global shipping and logistics company has leased more than 4,000 square feet of industrial space in South Hackensack, according to a brokerage team with NAI James E. Hanson.
New York Girlz Corp., which specializes in package forwarding and purchasing services from the United States, Japan and Germany, is moving to 60 Worth St. from nearby Hackensack, according to a news release. Its new home provides the firm with strong highway access, an interior tailgate and an abundance of on-site parking for employees.
NAI Hanson Vice President Dominic Fittizzi represented the landlord, 60 Worth St. LLC, in the 4,070-square-foot deal.
“Despite uncertainty from tariffs, the northern New Jersey market is still seeing strong demand from logistics companies looking to leverage the area’s favorable demographics and proximity to Port Newark,” Fittizzi said. “I’m excited to have helped my client secure a new tenant and bring the building to full occupancy with this transaction.”
In announcing the deal, NAI Hanson noted that 60 Worth St. is a newly renovated, 11,123-square-foot building with an interior dock with a leveler, two 15-foot overhead doors and new heaters and bathrooms. The facility is also just off Interstate 80.
