A developer has landed a tenant for a new 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse in Burlington County, reportedly inking a full-building lease with a unit of shipping giant Maersk.
The builder, Logistics Property Company LLC, said its Box Park Logistics Center in Cinnaminson includes the facility and adjacent land available for a build-to-suit facility up to 300,000 square feet. That property at 995 Taylors Lane is now spoken for after the lease by Performance Team, the tenant identified by multiple published reports, which will use the space to strengthen its logistics network and bring some 1,000 jobs to the region.
LogiPropCo’s Mark Glagola, senior vice president of LogiPropCo’s Northeast region, and J.C. Hay, senior vice president of asset management, secured the deal alongside Cushman & Wakefield’s John Gartland, Jonas Skovdal, Bill Waxman, Mindy Lissner and Sean Duncan. Eric Demmers of NAI James E. Hanson represented the tenant.
“This project, in size alone, was a tremendous undertaking,” Glagola said. “We are grateful to the teams who worked on the project, including our general contractor, FCL, our brokerage team at Cushman & Wakefield and Cinnaminson Township.”
In a news release last week, LogiPropCo said the building is certified on the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design scale and has access to heavy power. It’s also roughly a mile from Route 130 and nine miles from the Port of Philadelphia.
