A printing company has leased more than 14,000 square feet of industrial space in Mahwah, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.

The tenant, The Artistic Group, picked the space at 31 Industrial Ave. as its new headquarters thanks in part to its heavy power capacity and strategic location within the New York metropolitan area, according to a news release. The full-service print production company, whose services include acrylic, large format, offset and letterpress, is relocating from Englewood and will occupy 14,449 square feet at the freestanding, 54,000-square-foot property.

NAI Hanson Senior Vice President Andrew Somple and Associate Jessica Curry represented the landlord, 31 Industrial Ave Estates LLC, noting that the industrial flex building is accessible from Route 17, Interstate 287 and the New York State Thruway. It also has 16-foot ceiling heights, 30- by 20-foot column spacing, a wet sprinkler system and ample on-site parking.

“Well-amenitized buildings in a prime location like 31 Industrial Avenue continue to see strong demand,” Somple said. “That said, it’s not always easy for owners to secure tenants that are an ideal fit, and that’s why it’s important to work with brokers who have a deep network and understanding of the local market. We are pleased to have connected both parties in this transaction and wish them all the best going forward.”
