JCMLiving has secured two retail tenants for a new 295-unit apartment building in Wood-Ridge, inking leases with a well-known education franchise and a pharmacy.
The developer, an affiliate of Cammeby’s, said Mathnasium will occupy 1,410 square feet at 200 Rosie Square under the five-year lease. The operator is slated to open next month at what’s known as Rosera Wesmont, serving students from prekindergarten through high school as it adds to a footprint with more than 1,000 learning centers around the world.
The second tenant, Allstar Pharmacy, has taken 1,330 square feet of ground-floor retail space at the property, part of the master-planned, 150-acre Wesmont Station district and the newly minted Rosie Square portfolio. The deal includes an initial term of five years with a subsequent five-year renewal option, JCM said, noting that the Lodi-based chain will offer community pharmacy services including prescription fulfillment, medication management and vaccinations.
Garrett Aires of ESR Commercial and David Townes of JLL represented the respective tenants, which are part of 3,000 square feet of retail within the building and more than 17,000 square feet within Rosie Square.
“Finding tenants who add real value to our residents’ everyday lives has been a key focus from the start at Rosera Wesmont and within the larger Rosie Square community,” said Andrew Weissman, director of North Jersey at JCMLiving. “For us, it isn’t just about leasing space — it’s about creating a thriving, connected community that truly benefits residents.”
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, with interior design by The Childs Dreyfus Group, Rosera Wesmont hit the market this past spring with homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a pool, fitness and wellness spaces, coworking areas and landscaped courtyards, while residents are within walking distance of commuter rail service at NJ Transit’s Wesmont Station.
Other retailers within Rosie Square include Phenix Salon, Dogtopia, Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robins and Wesmont Liquors.
