Velocity Venture Partners has completed a 33,000-square-foot addition to a Burlington industrial building, providing expansion space for the manufacturer that anchors the property.
The landlord said Specified Technologies Inc., which makes building materials, has been a tenant at 1208 Columbus Road since 2008. It now occupies roughly 88,000 square feet after the addition, which coincides with 10-year lease and expansion renewal with Velocity.
The Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania-based real estate owner acquired the property in July 2022, the firm said. It was about 75,000 square feet at the time and built to accommodate six individual tenants, Velocity added, noting that it opened in the 1960s as a machine shop for helicopter parts.
The landlord is now marketing a handful of small availabilities at the updated property, which range from 4,000 to 8,000 square feet.
