The owners of a historic yacht manufacturer are seeking a buyer for the brand and related assets, including a waterfront facility in Burlington County, in a new listing by Vantage Commercial.
In a news release, the brokerage team said investors may buy the Cherubini Yachts brand and the Delran manufacturing plant as a package or in separate deals. The real estate component consists of a roughly 8,000-square-foot facility on roughly two acres at Dredge Harbor, providing immediate access to the Delaware River and Rancocas Creek as well as a site long associated with marine production and maritime operations.
Vantage Commercial’s Ken Richardson and Vince Ceroli make up the listing team, noting that the Cherubini Yachts name represents a respected legacy in American yacht building. They said the business emerged in the 1970s as a recognized builder of classic sailboats and runabouts known for their craftsmanship, seaworthiness and timeless design, developing a strong reputation among with vessels such as the Cherubini 44, Cherubini 48, Classic 20 and Classic 24.
“This is a unique opportunity to acquire a heritage American yacht-building brand with authentic history and strong market recognition,” said Richardson, a partner with the Cherry Hill-based firm. “Brands with this level of legacy and credibility rarely become available, particularly when paired with the opportunity to operate from a well-established marine manufacturing location.”
Vantage Commercial is marketing the brand assets and real estate to qualified domestic and international buyers, including marine manufacturers, private investors and maritime service operators, the news release said. Deals are subject to ownership approval and negotiated terms.
“The combination of the Cherubini brand and this waterfront facility creates multiple strategic opportunities for buyers,” said Ceroli, a senior adviser with the company.
