A prominent retail and office property in Bound Brook is now fully occupied after two recent leases at the complex, according to a brokerage team with Deluccia Commercial Group.
In a news release, the firm said Efinger Plaza’s newest tenants include Sam – The National Food Lab, a Brussels-based, multibillion-dollar company that provides product development, culinary innovation and food science services for the food and beverage industry. The operator is taking an undisclosed amount of space at the property at 509-513 West Union Ave., bringing what Deluccia described as a unique professional component to the tenant mix.
Also joining the roster is Legend Athletics, a fitness-focused business dedicated to athletic training, performance development and wellness programming, according to a news release. The facility will provide a range of training services designed for athletes and individuals seeking specialized strength, conditioning and sports performance programs.
Tim Deluccia of Deluccia Commercial Group represented the landlord, Brooklyn-based Skyrock Capital, touting Efinger Plaza’s location at the signalized intersection of Route 28 and Thompson Avenue and its easy access to routes 22 and 28 and interstates 287 and 78. The 53,711-square-foot center also has ample on-site parking and prominent pylon signage, making it a well-positioned destination for both retail and service-oriented businesses in Somerset County.
“The building has a longstanding presence in the Bound Brook community, historically associated with the former Efinger Sporting Goods store, a business that served the region for more than a century,” Deluccia wrote in its announcement. “Today, the property has been repositioned into a diverse multitenant commercial center serving local residents and the surrounding business community with ownership investing a significant amount of capital.”
Other tenants include Goodwill, Dollar General and Magma Gym, which also is expanding and has committed to remain for another five years.
