A joint venture has taken the wraps off a 140,000-square-foot retail center in Morris Township, delivering a new, ground-up space that will house more than two dozen businesses.
Located at 191 East Hanover Ave., the project by Accurate and DeVimy Equities has repurposed part of the former Colgate-Palmolive campus just north of Morristown. The site is now home to a stretch of modern retail space that so far has attracted 28 businesses, 17 of which are open, along with community-oriented public spaces such as pocket parks, splash pads, seating areas, outdoor dining spaces and others.
The developers this week welcomed Morris Township Deputy Mayor William “Bud” Ravitz and other officials to mark the opening of what they’ve dubbed Morris Marketplace.
“We are thrilled to welcome so many new business partners to Morris Township,” Ravitz said. “All these new businesses enhance the experience for our residents and those of the surrounding area. We know that The Marketplace will enjoy great success and look forward to celebrating it with all our new friends and partners.”

Jeffery Realty’s Steve Battista and Bill Lenaz make up the property’s leasing team. Retailers that have opened to date include:
- America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
- AT&T
- Burlington
- European Wax

- Jersey Mike’s
- Just Salad
- Mattress Warehouse

“We’re delighted to declare the official opening of Morris Marketplace,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate. “With an ideal location on the border of Morris Township and Morristown, we wanted this to be a destination property where commerce and community converge in a welcoming setting. Thank you to the Morris Township officials for sharing that vision. Together, we have thoughtfully created a space that will enrich the lives of all who work, shop and visit.”
The developers noted that a Lidl grocery store is slated to open in September. Other users that have committed to the property include:
- Cambridge Wines
- Dental practice
- Diamond Braces

“Morris Marketplace represents a transformative milestone in the retail landscape of Morris Township,” said Robert Indig, managing partner of DeVimy Equities. “Our collaboration with Accurate and the township has yielded a remarkable space where people can shop, dine and connect.”
