Accurate has welcomed the first residents at Citizen Bound Brook, the developer’s new 105-unit luxury apartment building in the Somerset County borough.
In a news release Monday, the firm said renters who reserved their units during a preleasing period began moving in on April 1. They’re among the newest residents in downtown Bound Brook, the site of a growing multifamily development pipeline, benefiting from a Main Street location that places them steps from NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley rail line.
Net effective monthly rental rates for the property’s studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments start from $1,800, including incentives of one month free on a 13-month lease or two-months free on a 26-month lease.
“We are proud to welcome our first residents to Citizen Bound Brook,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate. “Downtown Bound Brook is the perfect location for our newest ‘Citizen’ luxury rental community, with an attractive town center, shops, restaurants, small businesses and a train station all just a short walk away. Citizen Bound Brook adds high-style, amenity-rich living to the equation, for a desirable combination that is already proving popular with Somerset County renters.”
Designed by Jarmel Kizel Architects & Engineers, with interiors by Susan Strauss Design, the complex at 507 East Main St. boasts upscale apartments and amenity spaces for residents. They include a club room, a modern fitness center and a landscaped outdoor terrace, along with 5,000 square feet of street-level retail space that aims to both enhance the retail offerings of downtown Bound Brook and serve as an extended on-site amenity for residents.
Renters are also minutes from neighboring retail and restaurant hubs such as downtown Somerville and Bridgewater Commons, while they’re a short drive from Route 22, Interstate 287 and other major highways. Within Bound Brook, they have access to the historic Brook Arts Center, a calendar of community events and festivals and the Delaware & Raritan State Park with its corridors for hiking, jogging, bicycling, canoeing, fishing and horseback riding.
