The owner of a Garwood industrial complex has secured four leases totaling nearly 42,000 square feet, according to a brokerage team with Bussel Realty Corp.
In the largest of the deals, Speedfast LLC took 20,350 square feet at the Garwood Commerce Center just south of Route 28. BRC Vice President Jeffrey Goldfinger represented ownership in the transaction at 502 South Ave., while TEC Real Estate represented the tenant.
Goldfinger also represented ACP Partnership, the landlord at the 235,000-square-foot property, in three other leases:
- 10,150 square feet at 536 South Ave. by Just Logistics Group Inc.
- 8,000 square feet at 512 South Ave. by Sundaddy LLC
- 3,300 square feet at 626 South Ave. by OM Creation
Kassan Sabbagh Realty represented Just Logistics Group, while BRC’s Steve Jaynes, N. Rebecca Abraham and Doug Jaynes represented Sundaddy.
“The spaces at Garwood Commerce Center are ideally suited to meet the operational needs of today’s industrial users, offering functional layouts, strong infrastructure and flexibility for growth,” Goldfinger said. “In addition, the property’s strategic Union County location provides outstanding access to Port Newark/Elizabeth, major highways and New York City-area customers, making it an excellent choice for logistics, distribution and light industrial tenants.”
According to a news release, the 10-acre campus has a combination of tailboard and drive-in loading, wet sprinkler systems, ample electrical capacity and abundant truck and passenger vehicle parking.
