Avison Young has named a new principal and director of land development services as part of a team serving clients across the Northeast Region and nationally.
Now based in Morristown, Adam Wright comes to the firm with more than 20 years of experience in architecture, entitlements, ground-up development and construction management, according to a recent news release. He joins the company alongside Senior Lead Brian Veneri and Senior Project Manager Chris Megnin, with a role that calls for providing end-to-end development solutions for clients.
All three previously worked at Wonder, a food technology startup.
“Through expanding our land development capabilities, we can deliver on increasingly complex business imperatives that our occupier, owner and investor clients have as they evaluate real estate for their service needs and identify their capital investment requirements,” said Jeff Heller, an Avison Young principal and the firm’s managing director in New Jersey.
At Wonder, the trio led the firm’s real estate expansion strategy and managed construction for last-mile vehicle hubs, cold storage distribution warehouses and food production facilities, according to a news release.
“We are honored to welcome Adam Wright, Brian Veneri and Chris Megnin as experts in delivering turnkey, land development solutions,” said Stephen Silverstein, principal and managing director of U.S. studio, project and construction management at Avison Young.
Some of the team’s notable ground-up construction projects include a 150,000-square-foot office campus in El Paso, Texas, for the global human resources management company, ADP, along with a 470,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Piscataway and a 100,000-square-foot self-storage facility in Yaphank, New York.
“Brian, Chris and I are excited to join Avison Young’s innovative team and collaborative culture,” Wright said. “We are ready to jump in and drive opportunities for land development services, coupled with project and construction management across the U.S.”
