Avison Young has announced a promotion on its New Jersey project management team.
Danielle Loeffler, who is based in the firm’s Morristown office, has risen to the role of director for project management. She has been with the firm since 2016 and most recently was a senior project manager, with responsibilities including site and building design, entitlements, tenant relations and lease compliance, as well as full construction services from bid negotiation through close-out.
She has overseen project management work for industrial facilities in New Jersey, as well as self-storage facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
“We are pleased to announce Danielle’s appointment to director,” said Jeff Heller, principal and managing director for Avison Young’s New Jersey office. “Danielle has played a key role in the expansion of our project management service line and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in every project she oversees. Her successful track record speaks for itself and we congratulate her on a well-deserved promotion.”
Loeffler’s experience also includes recently completing multiple industrial projects for Black Creek Group throughout New Jersey, including a 528,000-square-foot development at 1400 West Front St. in Florence, a 330,000-square-foot project in Monroe Township and a 190,000-square foot project in the Avenel section of Woodbridge, the firm said. She is finalizing work for two additional projects for the developer for buildings of 200,000 and 90,000 square feet in Lodi.
“I’m looking forward to stepping into a bigger leadership role at Avison Young and helping to lead the project management team to even more success,” Loeffler said. “My new role allows me to take on additional responsibilities such as generating new business and diversifying my portfolio of projects by expanding into new sectors, including retail and residential. Our team is comprised of some of the best project management professionals in the business and I’m excited to continue collaborating with my colleagues to deliver the high level of service our clients have come to expect.”
Loeffler was an assistant project manager at Kushner Cos. before joining Avison Young, playing a key role assisting the project manager on the development of new townhome construction in Brooklyn, according to a news release. She also was an assistant property manager, a role in which she supervised all management and administrative duties, and was responsible for maintaining the upkeep and team of staff for a portfolio of 46 residential apartment buildings in New York City.
She holds a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Maryland and a master’s in real estate development from Georgetown University.
