Bennett Realty & Development is expanding its advisory platform in New Jersey with a newly hired director of multifamily.
The commercial real estate firm said Eric Heller joins its team with nearly three decades of skills and relationships. He started his career in information technology, supporting major organizations such as the NBA and Oxford Instruments, before transitioning to commercial real estate and focusing on the multifamily space.
“We are excited to launch a new service platform on our advisory side and to have Eric join our team of specialists,” Bennett Realty CEO Tyler Bennett said. “We continue to focus on a client-first, service-driven platform that is unrivaled in our industry.”
Prior to joining Bennett, Heller served as director of multifamily investment sales and redevelopment for Midtown Commercial, a national commercial real estate firm, having also worked with Lee & Associates as a vice president for investment sales and redevelopment.
The firm added that he has played a key role in the approval or development of more than 1,000 multifamily units across northern New Jersey’s most prolific markets, including Linden, Bayonne, Roselle, Plainfield and Metuchen. His expertise also includes assemblages, complex development deals and value-add mixed-use buildings.
“The unique platform at Bennett has always intrigued me since meeting Tyler,” Heller said. “The best-in-class platform combined with a service-first, client driven approach is rare. I look forward to adding to the team of specialists and being an integral part of the company.”
The Brielle resident holds multiple computer science certifications and is currently pursuing a CRE designation, according to a news release. The firm added that his combined background of transactions, data and relationships provides him insight into all aspects of the multifamily space.
