Brookfield Properties has secured a tenant for more than 19,000 square feet of industrial space on 4.2 acres in Jersey City, in a newly announced deal by The Blau & Berg Co.
The brokerage team represented ownership in the transaction at 530 Duncan Ave., noting that the 36-door terminal is just off Route 440. That means its new, undisclosed tenant is adjacent to the Pulaski Skyway and minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, Port Newark-Elizabeth and New Jersey Turnpike Exit 15E.
Blau & Berg’s Jason Crimmins, Alessandro (Alex) Conte and Peter J. Murano Jr. brokered the lease for the 19,440-square-foot building.
“We were pleased to represent Brookfield Properties on this Jersey City asset,” said Crimmins, Blau & Berg’s president. “We were confident that there would be significant interest as this terminal, located on 4.2 acres, is in an exceptional location with proximity to the ports. The site offers multiple dynamic usage options, as it could be utilized for (industrial outdoor storage), (less-than-truckload), ecommerce or other logistic purposes. The location, less than five miles from the ports of Newark and Elizabeth as well as the Global Terminal, was a valuable advantage for any prospective tenant.”
