A logistics and transportation firm has leased more than 49,000 square feet at a trucking terminal in Harrison, in a newly announced deal by The Blau & Berg Co.
According to the brokerage team, which represented East West Hauling Inc., the 60-dock facility at 700 1st St. spans about four acres and is adjacent to Interstate 280. It’s also two miles from Newark Liberty International Airport and provides quick access to Port Newark-Elizabeth, as well as key entry points to New York City, providing an important location for the locally based user.
Blau & Berg’s Ken Crimmins and Jason Crimmins brokered the 49,002-square-foot lease.
“East West Hauling has flourished in this environment, and their positioning within this vital logistics corridor is a testament to their success,” said Jason Crimmins, president of the Short Hills-based firm. “What began as a single truck operated by one individual has, in just a decade, evolved into a national logistics powerhouse. We are genuinely delighted to witness the remarkable growth of such a valued client.”
