A third-party logistics firm has subleased 80,000 square feet of industrial space in Edison, in a newly announced deal by Bussel Realty Corp.
In a news release, the brokerage team said it represented Packaging Distribution Resources in the transaction at 1 Truman Drive, a 369,313-square-foot property near Interstate 287. The provider of warehousing, fulfillment and other services is subleasing the space from RXO Inc.
“It was a pleasure working with PDR as their real estate services partner in securing the optimal industrial space for its business expansion,” said David Paster, a vice president with BRC. “I have enjoyed a relationship with PDR for more than 10 years and am glad to be of service and a part of their continued success.”
Paster represented the subtenant alongside David Blitt, a senior vice president with BRC, while RE Perry represented RXO. They noted that 1 Truman Drive is minutes from Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike and routes 27, 1 and 440, with features such as 24-foot ceiling heights, 40 tailboards, a rail line, heavy power, wet sprinklers and parking for 277 cars and 29 trailers.
