CBRE has promoted Kelly Conaway to managing director for the greater Philadelphia region, a territory that includes downtown and suburban Philadelphia, Delaware, southern New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley and Central Pennsylvania.
In the new position, Conaway has moved into a leadership role for the region and will drive growth strategy for all business lines under the firm’s advisory and transaction services group. She previously spent nearly two decades leading its marketing department for the Northeast, and will now work under Rija Beares, CBRE’s greater Philadelphia market leader, and work alongside Managing Director Diane Weinberg.
“During her tenure at CBRE, Kelly has gained recognition and accolades for her strategic leadership and has risen to director of marketing for the Northeast,” Beares said. “As director, she has supported business development, existing account management and brand expansion to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. In addition, her keen focus on driving revenue growth and market share makes this move a natural progression.”
“Diane Weinberg and I look forward to working with Kelly to continue to drive growth in the region.”
Conaway began her career leading business development and marketing at various architecture firms, according to a news release. She currently serves as a mentor in both the EMPOWER and EMERGE mentoring programs at CBRE, the company said, adding that she is also active in CBRE’s Women’s Network and Black Excellence Network Group, among others.
