Two restaurants have expanded to Hudson County after leases in North Bergen, in a set of transactions by Cervelli Real Estate & Property Management.
According to the firm, the operators include a Mediterranean restaurant known as Kamil’s, which is marking its second location with the commitment at 8227-8231 Kennedy Blvd. The eatery, which has a successful location in Passaic County, brings more than a decade of experience to its new venture.
The second new restaurant at the building is Rose’s Toasted Café, a fresh concept from an experienced operator who has successfully owned and managed casual breakfast and lunch establishments in Florida, Cervelli said in a news release. Both restaurants are opening after a major renovation of the Kennedy Boulevard property, the former longtime home of an Italian deli before it closed during the pandemic.
As Cervelli noted, the new leases provided lease diversity and the opportunity to increase the rent per square foot by nearly 50 percent.
