A growing cheese company has leased a 22,000-square-foot industrial building in Kenilworth, in a newly announced deal by The Blau & Berg Co.
Brokers with the firm represented ownership in the transaction at 500 Hoiles Drive, which includes 2,000 square feet of office space and additional trailer parking. The team added that the site’s highway access and proximity to Port Newark-Elizabeth played a major role in the deal, noting that the 1.5-acre property is just over a mile from the Garden State Parkway and minutes from other major corridors, including Interstate 78 and Route 1&9.
Blau & Berg’s Kenneth F. Crimmins, Jason Crimmins, Alessandro (Alex) Conte and Peter J. Murano Jr. arranged the deal in conjunction with the tenant’s broker, Jodi Luminiello of Coldwell Banker Realty.
“We were confident that this facility would attract interest, as it was priced appropriately and offered both value and location,” said Peter Murano, managing executive director with Blau & Berg. “Jodi Luminiello was a great, professional counterpart to work with. Her client is a wonderful success story, a family-owned cheese manufacturing business that has grown through hard work and felt it was time to expand their manufacturing footprint. Looking forward to a multitude of success for many years to come.”
