A plant-based restaurant has renewed its lease at the base of a mixed-use building in downtown Somerville, in a deal arranged by Deluccia Commercial Group.

The eatery, Turf Surf & Earth, occupies 2,700 square feet at the 100,000-square-foot building known as Somerset Commons. Its renewal at 46 East Main St. will keep it in place for at least another five years, following a deal in which Tim Deluccia represented both parties.

Owned by Somerville Urban Renewal LLC, Somerset Commons consists of 50,000 square feet of office space, street-level retail and 14 luxury apartments.

“We have combined a passion for cooking delicious, fresh gourmet dishes, with a passion for providing healthy, plant-based options,” said Bryon Salazar, owner and operator of Turf Surf & Earth. “We believe that the basis for a great restaurant is simple: serving tasty, high-quality food in a friendly, clean and inviting atmosphere. We offer a fast-casual dining experience with a customizable menu. We strive to highlight the benefits of our plant-based Earth menu selections, which are healthy, sustainable and compassionate.”
