A direct-to-consumer retailer has found its first logistics facility, leasing 105,000 square feet of new industrial space in the Salem County township of Carneys Point.
According to Lee & Associates, which represented the tenant, the affordable luxury brand Quince will use the space at 24 North Game Creek Road to serve its immediate and long-term distribution space needs. It’s leasing the space from Dermody, the developer of the two-building LogistiCenter at Carneys Point complex off Route 48 and roughly a mile from Interstate 295.
Andrew Stypa of Lee & Associates’ New Jersey office completed the deal alongside JLL’s Dean Torosian, who represented the landlord, noting that the space gives Quince the option to expand up to 325,000 square feet to support its growth and operational logistics needs.
“We conducted an extensive logistics facility site search in six states with a focus on finding a landlord that Quince could partner with and grow with over time,” Stypa said. “LogistiCenter at Carneys Point offers opportunities for expansion and access to a strong labor pool; these were major draws for our client. This lease marks a significant milestone as Quince brings more of its supply chain in-house. We are pleased to have helped them find a strategic home in New Jersey.”
Founded in 2018, Quince is an innovative direct-to-consumer retail brand that partners directly with factories, enabling it to sell exceptional quality fashion and home goods at an affordable price point, according to a news release. Its new home in Carneys Point provides it with strong regional access from the New Jersey Turnpike and I-295, as well as tristate connectivity via the Delaware Memorial and Commodore Barry bridges.
