DIGroup Architecture has named a new principal and promoted three other leaders across its New Brunswick headquarters and satellite office in Philadelphia.
In a news release, the firm said Scott Hoffman rises to the principal role to become the newest member of its executive leadership team. Meantime, it has elevated Jaime Masler Beach and Kelli Glasgow to associate principal, while promoting Dalina Cruz to senior interior designer.
“These advancements reflect our dedication to fostering internal talent and ensuring continued success in delivering exceptional architectural, interior and environmental graphic design solutions that positively impact the communities and clients we serve,” said Principal Jeffrey Venezia, who co-founded DIG with principals Vince Myers, president, and Rich Alderiso, chief operating officer.
Hoffman, a seasoned project manager with 15 years at DIG, leads the Philadelphia office and oversees a diverse portfolio of impactful projects, according to a news release. His latest promotion reflects what the minority-, disadvantaged- and small business-certified firm described as his ability to drive innovation, mentor emerging professionals and deliver projects that align with its “architecture for change” mantra.
What’s more, Hoffman’s portfolio includes award-winning projects in the educational, health care, senior living and civic sectors that have been recognized for their design and impact in revitalizing communities.
“DIG is committed to uplifting communities through intentional and inclusive design,” he said. “I am deeply honored to take on the role of principal and to help strengthen and build upon our firm’s longstanding mission and reputation while continuing to focus on the firm’s design goals for each project.”
Masler Beach, who joined DIG in 2012, has a broad portfolio and deep business understanding that the firm said enable holistic design solutions, while her strong regional connections drive growth. The practice also pointed to her strong client retention and contributions to its culture through initiatives like Bring Your Child to Work Day.
Glasgow, for her part, arrived at the firm in 2014 and focuses on sustainability, functionality and community engagement, according to a news release. As DIG’s director of employee engagement and HR committee chair since 2022, she has built strong recruitment, hiring and training programs, while her professional learning sessions and employee events strengthen DIG’s inclusive, mentorship-focused culture.
The firm added that Glasgow is president-elect of AIA Newark & Suburban Architects.
As senior interior designer, Cruz will build on her expertise in designing diverse interior environments and in creating functional and inspiring spaces, the firm said. She is especially active within the health care and education sectors.
