A trade magazine has recognized a top executive with DIGroup Architecture for his commitment to giving back to the communities in which he serves, the firm announced.

The New Brunswick-based practice said its president, Vincent Myers, was named a “DBE Power Player” by American DBE, a quarterly publication for individuals and stakeholders who work within the U.S. Transportation Department’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program. The architecture, interior design and environmental graphics firm announced the distinction on Tuesday, citing Myers’ track record for serving the education sector in the state of New Jersey, specifically within underserved communities.
“It’s an honor to be named a DBE Power Player,” Myers said, “but what’s even more meaningful for me is being [recognized for] bringing attention to individuals and organizations whose mission rests in serving others, a mission that has fueled DIGroup Architecture since its founding, and a family legacy I am proud to continue.”
DIGroup, which also has a studio in Philadelphia, holds certifications as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and as a Minority-Owned and Small Business Enterprise. It serves clients and communities in the education, civic, health care, corporate and senior living sectors.
