The site of a former Rite Aid in Somerville has changed hands for $2.6 million, in a newly announced deal by Deluccia Commercial Group.

According to the brokerage firm, the freestanding building at 132 North Gaston Ave. spans 11,000 square feet and benefits from its location at a signalized intersection off Route 28, which provides high visibility and traffic. It’s also located in the borough’s B4 zone, allowing for a diverse range of commercial uses.

Tim Deluccia of Deluccia Commercial Group represented both the seller, I.C. Somerville Inc., and the buyer, Shantaaa LLC.
