Running shoe store Fleet Feet has taken 2,300 square feet of retail space in downtown Somerville, in a deal arranged by Deluccia Commercial Group.

The chain which specializes in footwear, apparel and accessories, will occupy the space at 76 West Main St. under a five-year lease with DGM Management. The store will be among more than 280 nationwide for the company, which was founded in California in 1976 and has a significant presence in New Jersey.

Deluccia Commercial’s Tim Deluccia represented both parties, noting that DGM Management is a family-owned property development and management firm based in Somerville and with a broad portfolio in the borough.
