new hires and a promotion on its

BR&D noted that Bothner holds a
bachelor’s in computer science from
Monmouth University, giving him a
data-driven perspective on market
analysis, investment evaluations
and property performance, the news
release said. The fi rm also said he
lived in Japan for three years and is
conversational in Japanese, allowing
him to build strong cross-cultural
relationships and communicate
effectively in diverse business settings.

its capital markets team in the region
with the addition of Joanna Manfro, a
veteran broker in the retail space.
In her new role as managing director,
Northeast retail investment sales,
Manfro will focus on advancing client
advisory, expanding relationships
and supporting
strategic growth
initiatives across
the market,
according to a
news release.
She’ll do so as
part of the fi rm’s

Advisors team, led by Vice Chair
Mark Gilbert, working alongside
Executive Managing Director Frank
DiTommaso and under the direction
of Executive Regional Director Peter
Bronsnick.

Manfro has more than 15 years of
experience in the retail sector that
spans real estate investment trust
acquisitions and multitenant retail
brokerage, the news release said.
Cushman also cited her deep market
knowledge, client-focused approach
and track record across the Northeast,
noting that she’ll work alongside
DiTomasso and Associate Director
Max Helfman to expand its retail
investment platform in the region.

CHACANIAS JOINS

Flaster Greenberg PC has welcomed
Peter A. Chacanias as counsel in
its real estate and land use and
environmental departments, the
Cherry Hill-based fi rm announced.
In his new role, Chacanias will
advise commercial developers and
property owners on all aspects of
real estate from concept to ribbon
cutting, including development,
redevelopment, affordable housing,
permitting and environmental
compliance, according to a news
release. The practice said he’ll
draw on his strong background
representing clients before planning
boards, zoning boards of adjustment
and other
regulatory
bodies across
New Jersey,
noting that
he has deep
experience
with site plan
approvals,
Peter A. Chacanias
subdivisions and
variance applications.
Chacanias is also well versed in
waterfront development, tidelands,
wetlands, pinelands and historic
preservation matters, plus interaction
with state and federal environmental
agencies.
