The Real Estate attorneys at Brach Eichler LLC
OUR CLIENTS
Our clients are typically commercial property owners of strip shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, motels, country clubs, and nursing homes. We also have clients who own high-end residential properties that are overassessed.
OUR ADVANTAGE
The biggest benefit of Brach Eichler is our experience. We have over 50 years of history in this practice area; not a lot of firms can make that claim. Also, we have the depth and expertise of our other practice areas including Real Estate, Corporate Transactions and Financial Services, Environmental and Land Use, and Healthcare Law, to name a few, to consult with on various matters and issues that arise in the course of our tax appeal representation.
Brach Eichler is recognized in the industry for thoroughly vetting a case before filing it so that when a municipality sees a case from us they know it has merit. We are also prepared to try a case. In fact, most of our cases result in a reduction either through trial or settlement. We do not file a case unless we confidently think it is going to result in a reduction of taxes.

movie theatres, gyms, and restaurants will be particularly affected. There are going to be higher collection and vacancy losses for these properties and, consequently, they will be most suitable for tax appeals next year. TRANSACTION SPOTLIGHT
We recently tried appeals on several retail properties with very successful outcomes. The depth of our experience enables us to make innovative arguments on behalf of our clients to employ alternative value techniques in an effort to establish an appropriate market value for a property.
Healthcare is also an important practice area for the firm. We recently tried a nursing home case and are waiting on a decision. Our tax appeal attorneys handle exemption cases for hospital systems as well as PILOT agreements and other day-to-day issues that arise with respect to real estate taxes.
We also handle New Jersey and Pennsylvania appeals, both those that we file and affirmative appeals that are filed by the taxing districts — so-called reverse appeals.
