    LARKEN ASSOCIATES
MAKES NEW HIRES IN
CONSTRUCTION
Larken Associates has expanded its in-house construction team with the hiring of H. Jordan Guenther as senior project manager and Liam Hanley as director of construction accounting.
The veteran industry professionals join Larken from REDCOM Design and Construction and from the
finance experience in his role as director of construction accounting, according to a
news release.

with Larken’s

teams, he will
provide the
firm’s leadership
with insights
into its construction projects and ensure timely payment of vendors and contractors.
Hanley previously worked as director of capital projects for the Archdiocese of New York, as director of development accounting for Brookfield Properties and as senior accountant for Turner Construction.
Core Enterprises is currently managing the construction of Larken Associates’ four Larken Living projects across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Along with the Bordentown and Hillsborough developments, the pipeline includes the 198-unit Autumn Ridge complex in Lopatcong and The Enclave at Copper Chase, a 107-unit residential complex on the site of the company’s 132-unit The Reserve at Copper Chase residential community in York, Pennsylvania.

The Reserve at Crosswicks, a 272- unit multifamily project currently underway in Bordentown, and Hillsborough Village Center, a 191-unit mixed-use project with 28,000 square feet of retail space under construction in Hillsborough. With REDCOM, he oversaw the construction of Ray Catena Jaguar Land Rover, the largest Jaguar Land Rover dealership in the world, as well as 320 Paterson Plank Road, an 80,000-square-foot industrial building in Carlstadt, among others.
In addition to his time at REDCOM, Guenther has worked for Eastman Cos., Dowel Associates, Iris Construction and Advance Realty Investors.
Joining Guenther, Hanley will leverage his two decades of accounting and
experience on a range of building types, including multifamily, medical centers, hospitality, retail and schools.

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Chuck Kohaut as a director in its East Rutherford-based equity, debt and structured finance group.
In the new role with the firm’s capital markets team, Kohaut brings a
focus on arranging debt and equity throughout the suburban New York metropolitan area. He most recently worked at Newmark Knight Frank.
