WCRE NAMES PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CHIEF
Wolf Commercial Real Estate has made another addition to its team, tapping Samuel Newman as its new director of property management.
Newman, a veteran industry executive, joins the Marlton-based firm with more than 20 years of
experience to the role. He
has managed a range of asset types during that time, including office, retail, hotel
and residential
properties, and will now focus on growing WCRE’s
practice in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.
“Adding Sam to our leadership team is going to provide a huge boost for both our current and future plans,”
said Jason Wolf, managing principal at WCRE. “His vast industry experience and knowledge of the region is a perfect match for WCRE, and we could not be happier to have Sam join our team.”
Newman most recently was a portfolio manager for Ranger Properties, having joined the firm in 2005 as an assistant property manager for its commercial and industrial assets and as its owner’s representative for a new 114-
unit condominium project in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, the news release said. The company promoted Newman to portfolio manager during his 16-year tenure as it continued to develop and acquire new projects, leading to an expanded portfolio in the suburbs
of Philadelphia, New York City and the Union Market neighborhood of Washington D.C.
“WCRE is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and forward- looking commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firms in the area,” Newman said. “I am honored to join their team of accomplished professionals and look forward to using my experience to transform and grow the WCRE brand across
the region.”
