Saxum Real Estate has announced four new hires aimed at bolstering its legal, project management and leasing teams.
The new additions include Michael Lickstein, who
comes to Saxum with more than 20 years of experience, the firm said, citing her proficiency in analyzing financial records, writing correspondence and document preparation. Samuelson

Adami brings more than two decades of experience, the firm said. Prior to his role in Manhattan, he served as
a supervising consultant for Grant Thornton Management Consulting.
He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Georgetown University and an MBA in management from New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business.

LEE & ASSOCIATES NAMES YOUNGEST- EVER PARTNER
Lee & Associates New Jersey has promoted Drew Maffey to partner, making him the youngest broker to ascend to the position with the firm.
In his new role, Maffey will continue to assist tenants and landlords in purchasing, selling and leasing

in Lee & Associates New Jersey’s Elmwood Park headquarters, the firm said, touting him as a top-tier producer and mentor to many young brokers.
Maffey, who started with the firm in 2017, has executed deals throughout New Jersey, as well as in California, Georgia and Ontario, Canada.

Also joining the company is Jason Wolfthal. He serves as a leasing analyst and

with all legal matters and with
the negotiation and execution of acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and other transactions.
Prior to joining Saxum, Lickstein was an associate in the real estate practice groups of Hogan Lovells and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, according to a news release. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Cornell University and Columbia Law School, respectively.

Meantime, Mehul Desai joins the firm as a senior
project manager,
bringing 20 years
of construction
and development
experience that
will help guide
its projects from
design through
completion. He
has a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a master’s in construction management from Stevens Institute
of Technology, while maintaining his New York City superintendent license and his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation by the U.S. Green Building Council.
“Mehul’s extensive skillset will add notable value as we specialize in bringing projects from concept to completion while also enhancing and upholding our earned reputation for success,” said Kieran Flanagan, the firm’s director of construction.

DIVERSIFIED ADDS EXEC FOR FINANCE, OPERATIONS
Diversified Properties, a Montville- based commercial and residential real estate developer, has named Greg Adami as its chief financial officer and chief operations officer.
In a news release, Diversified
said Adami joins its team from a multibillion-
dollar, family-
owned real
estate firm based
in Manhattan,
where he served
as director
of operations
and advised
ownership,
senior management and stakeholders on policies, procedures and processes. He also played a critical role in the company’s operations, development, finance, marketing and leasing teams.

Maffey began his career at Lee & Associates as a real estate sales associate in the industrial real estate market, specifically for Union and Middlesex counties, the firm said. He was promoted to assistant vice president in fall 2019. RE
