Public relations firm Violet PR has doubled its staff with five new hires, as it looks to serve its growing
roster of economic development, professional services and social good clients.
According to the Montclair-based agency, the additions include Georgette Gilmore as senior copywriter and Luke Gavronski as assistant account executive. Also joining its team are account coordinators Claudia Velasquez, Joelle DeCaro and Rachel Lessig.

LEIFER FOR KEY POST
Diversified Properties has hired Jon Leifer as its new director of acquisitions and development, the Montville-based firm announced.
In his new role, Leifer will oversee the company’s building and land acquisitions as well as both ground- up development and redevelopment projects in key growth markets, according to a news release. He joins the commercial and residential real estate firm from Bowery Farming, a New York City-based vertical farming and indoor agriculture company with farms in New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania, where he served as head of real estate.

CBRE has hired Brian Golden as
an executive vice president and the newest addition to its industrial and logistics advisory team in New Jersey.
The firm said Golden, formerly of JLL, specializes
in institutional
landlord
and tenant
representation.
He comes to
CBRE’s Saddle
Brook-based
unit and will
represent clients
in developing and implementing real estate strategies throughout the Northeast.

Golden most recently was an executive managing director with JLL, representing clients in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Previously, was a senior leasing manager in New Jersey for Prologis, overseeing leasing activity for more than 20 million square feet of industrial and warehouse space.
His past positions also include director of leasing for Mack-Cali Realty Corp., where he handled leasing activity for more than 4 million square feet of office space.

With Bowery Farming, Leifer executed expansion strategy and led corporate site selection for indoor vertical farms and research and development facilities, including leasing and facility buildout negotiations, incentive procurement and project entitlement, the news release said. He also spearheaded renewable energy purchases, sustainable design initiatives and design-build feasibility analysis.
Leifer is also a former director of acquisitions for Rochelle Park-based Case Real Estate Capital, where he led deal sourcing and execution,
due diligence, purchase and sale negotiations, capital raising and joint venture partnership structuring.
