DORELL TO
DESIGN DIRECTOR
Larken Associates has promoted Jillian Dorell to director of design, touting her role in several of the commercial real estate firm’s recent development projects.
In announcing the promotion, the company said Dorell joined its Branchburg-based team in 2015 and quickly established herself as a rising star in the construction and design industry. Working closely with Larken Associates’ development, marketing and leasing teams, she has been integral to many of its residential and commercial design work,
from tenant build-outs to new construction such as the firm’s new 198-unit multifamily project in Lopatcong.

Larken said Dorell’s attention to detail and creativity was highlighted by her recent success in managing the design of Autumn Ridge, the Lopatcong property. The project earned the prestigious Community of the Year and Best Home in a Rental Community Awards from the New Jersey Builders Association,
as well as several other accolades throughout 2022.
As director of design, Dorell
will lead the creation of a company-wide aesthetic and design standard across Larken Associates’ commercial and residential portfolio, according to a news release. In addition, she’ll continue to build relationships with manufacturers and outside professionals to expand the firm’s design capabilities and resources,
while she will research new trends in design as well as materials and technologies for use across its existing and planned commercial and residential properties.

TARQUINO NAMED
PRINCIPAL WITH
STUDIO 1200
Studio 1200 has promoted Siro Prisco Tarquinio, the head of its residential and mixed-use teams, to the role
of principal, the Short Hills-based architecture and interior design firm announced.
The practice said Tarquinio now joins its leadership ranks alongside Sandee Markwith and Nancy Dougherty. In announcing the move, they noted that his experience spans large- and small-scale single-family residential projects throughout the area, as
well as mixed-use and multifamily buildings in multiple downtown communities.
“Prisco embodies the mission of Studio 1200: passion for design and dedication to
outstanding
client service,” Markwith said.
Currently,
Tarquinio and
his team are
developing sites
in Bernardsville,
Flemington,
Madison, Millburn and Summit, according to a news release. He has a client base that stretches from the Hamptons to the Jersey Shore.
“Prisco exemplifies the collaborative spirit and creative problem solving that drives Studio 1200,” Dougherty said. “We are enormously proud to have him join our leadership team.”
Tarquinio, who grew up in Italy surrounded by historic architecture,
holds a master’s in architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s in economics from Rutgers University.

Pierson Commercial has hired Anayah Goswami to join its Marlboro- based team of retail brokers.
Goswami, a Monmouth County resident, comes the firm from Coldwell Banker Realty’s Manalapan office. In that role, she focused on commercial real estate leasing and sales transactions.

Newmark Associates has announced three recent additions to its Morris County-based team of commercial real estate brokers.

The company also has an office
in New York City, while its overall retail leasing and property marketing assignments span more than 7 million square feet across major downtown redevelopments, ground-up new construction and existing retail shopping centers.

of institutional investors, before transitioning to investor relations and product development work for private real estate funds both at PGIM Real Estate and later at Amherst Capital Management.
“Jenna brings a keen understanding of real estate fundamentals paired with business development and project management expertise,” Newmark Associates wrote in its announcement.
In addition to her work at the firm, Glick acts as chief operating officer of CRESDA, the Commercial Real Estate Supplier Diversity Alliance, working with Newmark Associates Founder Susanne Newmark and Chief Operating Officer Nancy Glick, according to
a news release. CRESDA provides Fortune 500 companies access to highly vetted and certified diverse suppliers
of commercial real estate brokerage services across the country.
